SCHIPHOL – Amsterdam Airport Schiphol will take over the provision of services for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) in-house from early 2028. The airport aims to gain greater control over the continuity, quality and further development of this growing service.
The assistance is currently provided by Axxicom Airport Caddy, part of Facilicom Group. The company supports approximately 750,000 passengers annually and employs nearly 1,000 staff for this purpose.
Until the transition in 2028, Axxicom Airport Caddy will remain responsible for the service. Schiphol and Facilicom Group will work together in the coming period to ensure a careful handover. It has been agreed that all current employees will retain their jobs. Trade unions will also be closely involved in the further process.
