KRALENDIJK – Recently, the 45th anniversary of George ‘Kultura’ was celebrated at STINAPA in a very warm atmosphere, in the presence of family, friends, colleagues and representatives of the cultural sector. Deputy of Culture Timoteo Silberie and culture connoisseur Frans Booi joined representatives of FUHIKUBO, Mangazina di Rei, Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB), UNESCO and Intangible Cultural Heritage to celebrate Kultura’s jubilee in Washington Park. The celebration took place on April 13, 2026.
Several people took the floor and praised the jubilarian for his role in the preservation of local culture and nature. TCB awarded Kultura a plaque of merit for his valuable dedication over so many years to the preservation of nature and culture.
Interview
To ensure that his knowledge is preserved for future generations, STINAPA together with FUHIKUBO will record a series of interviews with Kultura in the park itself.
