KRALENDIJK – From August 17 to 28, the Fire Department Caribbean Netherlands (BKCN) will be extra visible on Bonaire. During this period, various practical exercises will take place as part of the Officer of the Watch training course.
The practical exercises are an important part of the course and contribute to the proper preparation of the Officer of the Watch, enabling participants to provide operational leadership during crisis management and disaster response.
To prepare participants as thoroughly as possible for a wide range of incidents, exercises will be conducted using realistic scenarios at various locations across Bonaire. During the exercises, fire trucks and training situations will be visible in residential areas.
The exercises will take place Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
The BKCN requests that all road users and residents take the exercises into account and follow all instructions given.
