Bonaire receives 4% fewer stay-over tourists in July

KRALENDIJK - Bonaire received nearly 700 fewer visitors in July 2026 than a year earlier. A total of 15,984 stay-over tourists arrived on the island, a decline of 4% compared to the 16,653 visitors recorded in July 2025. This follows from preliminary figures released by the Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB).

Dutch visitors made up by far the largest group with 7,574 arrivals, accounting for 47.4% of the total. In second place were visitors from the United States with 4,044 arrivals (25.3%). Curaçao ranked third as a source market with 1,911 visitors (12%).

All other source countries each accounted for less than 2% of arrivals. Belgium sent 268 visitors (1.7%), followed by Aruba (247), Germany (231), Switzerland (206), Brazil (166), Colombia (156), Argentina (153) and Canada (105).
