KRALENDIJK, Bonaire – Regional carrier Z Air has announced the return of its direct flights between Bonaire and Medellín, Colombia, starting November 24, 2025.
The route will be operated with the newest addition to Z Air’s fleet, the Embraer ERJ-140, offering passengers a faster, more comfortable, and more reliable travel experience connecting the Caribbean with South America.
Z Air originally launched its Bonaire–Medellín route on December 2, 2021, using the SAAB 340B aircraft. Services were temporarily suspended in April 2023, but will now resume with the introduction of the ERJ-140—marking a new chapter in the airline’s regional expansion.
Flights will operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, providing convenient options for both leisure and business travelers.
Smoother and quicker
“We are excited to reconnect Bonaire and Medellín with our modern ERJ-140 jet,” said René Winkel, CEO of Z Air. “Passengers will enjoy a smoother and quicker journey, with convenient departure times and an easy arrival process in Medellín—making travel simple and stress-free.”
