KRALENDIJK – Travelers to and from Bonaire can look forward to a wider range of flight options this summer. Bonaire’s Flamingo Airport is expanding its flight schedule, according to an announcement today by Bonaire International Airport (BIA) and the Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB).

Notable newcomers to the island include JetBlue and Corendon. JetBlue will operate twice-weekly nonstop flights between New York (JFK) and Kralendijk, while Corendon is launching two weekly flights from Amsterdam, further strengthening the connection with Europe.

Regional connectivity is also getting a boost. Air Century is introducing a seasonal service between Bonaire and Santo Domingo (La Isabela), with a weekly flight every Wednesday.

American Airlines is responding to growing demand by significantly increasing capacity on its Miami route. From now through September, the carrier will fly four times a week using the larger Boeing 737-800 aircraft. This expansion enhances connections to the broader North American market.

Positive developments are also seen in inter-island travel, which remains vital for the local community. With larger aircraft now in service, Z Air is increasing seat capacity on the popular route between Bonaire and Curaçao. Divi Divi Air is also expanding its flight schedule. Meanwhile, Winair continues to operate its three-times-weekly flights, maintaining both morning and evening routes to St. Maarten via Curaçao.

With a broader mix of international and regional airlines, Flamingo Airport’s summer 2025 schedule offers more variety than ever. Travelers can expect frequent daily and weekly connections to key destinations across Europe, North America, and the Caribbean.
