ORANJESTAD - The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) reports that Tropical Storm Dolly is expected to become a strong tropical wave before reaching the Leeward Islands.
The system is expected to pass Sint Eustatius as a tropical wave from Saturday into Sunday. Strong thunderstorms, gusty winds and heavy rainfall are possible, with a risk of flash flooding.
Residents are advised to take the necessary precautions and follow official updates.
