NEVIS — The Nevis Tourism Authority has announced the return of the Nevis to St. Kitts Cross Channel Swim, scheduled for March 28, 2026. The 4.1-kilometre open water event, which takes place across the Narrows between Nevis and St. Kitts, is one of the region’s best-known endurance swims.
The announcement was made during a press briefing attended by government representatives, tourism officials and event organizers. Former Olympic open water swimmer Alice Dearing is expected to participate in the upcoming edition of the swim.
Sports tourism
Organizers highlighted the event’s role in promoting sports tourism and community engagement, as well as showcasing the natural setting between the two islands.
