KRALENDIJK – Columbia’s flag carrier Avianca will once again provide complimentary snacks and beverages to Economy Class passengers on international flights within the Americas lasting more than approximately three and a half hours. The measure is intended to improve onboard comfort on longer journeys and make the airline’s product more attractive to travelers.

On shorter international routes and domestic flights, the current buy-on-board catering concept will remain in place. According to the carrier, the change forms part of a broader effort to strengthen passenger service.

Further improvements

In addition to the revised catering, the airline is working on further improvements to the travel experience. These include the gradual introduction of onboard Wi-Fi on various aircraft and investments in ground services such as upgraded lounges and check-in facilities.
