THE BOTTOM, Saba - Residents of Saba who have outstanding tax debts have until 31 October to settle them, after the Tax Office Caribbean Netherlands (BCN) announced a two-month grace period. The measure comes after months of disrupted postal services on the island left some residents with insufficient time to respond to payment reminders.
Taxpayers who received a reminder between January and July 2026 are automatically exempt from the USD 8.00 reminder fee. BCN says no separate request is needed.
After 31 October, the tax office will resume its regular collection process. Residents with questions can reach BCN at +416 3941/42.
