Forty Breadfruit Trees Planted on Saba

Image

THE BOTTOM - The Public Entity Saba reforestation team has planted forty breadfruit trees over the past month in collaboration with residents and landowners.

Participants received free breadfruit trees donated by the Trees That Feed Foundation and cultivated by the reforestation team. The team planted the trees and registered them in the foundation’s tracking system.

Participation Still Possible

Residents can still sign up for the project. They can request one or more trees, depending on available space and the number of trees available.

The project is part of a larger initiative for reforestation and food security. In 2024, the Trees That Feed Foundation donated 75 breadfruit trees to Saba. This organization is committed to global food security by distributing and long-term monitoring of breadfruit trees.
