KRALENDIJK – The Bonaire Public Library hosted a book presentation late last week for the work Rayino i Kai i e Kachet’i Buriku by author Sharlon Willems.
The presentation was organized by the library’s Youth & Education team and brought visitors together for the introduction of the book, which contributes to Papiamento-language literature and is not exclusively aimed at children.
According to department head and director Jennifer Pocornie-Martis, the event went well. She expressed pride in the team that took charge of organizing the book presentation.
Promote reading
The activity is part of the library’s ongoing efforts to promote reading and bring local literature to the attention of the community.
