Over 100 Participants Attend Linkels & Partners Anniversary Workshops in St. Maarten

PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten – HR consulting and training firm Linkels & Partners last week organized a series of complimentary workshops on St. Maarten as part of the company’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The workshops, held at the company’s office on Welfare Road, attracted more than 100 participants throughout the week, including HR professionals, business owners, representatives of the Government of St. Maarten and various non-profit organizations.
Topics covered during the sessions included personnel retention in tight labor markets, making better hiring decisions, cash flow management, employee termination pitfalls and workplace health and wellness.
According to Sales & Marketing Coordinator Carine Thielman, interest in the free workshops exceeded expectations.
“There was a great deal of interest in the complimentary workshops. We did our best to accommodate as many interested persons as possible,” Thielman said.
Psychologist and director Harald Linkels said the company received particularly positive feedback from participants regarding both the initiative and the practical relevance of the sessions.
“It is our way of giving something back to the community in which we do business. Participants considered it a wonderful initiative, while the workshops themselves were regarded as highly relevant,” Linkels stated.
In addition to Linkels himself, workshops were also facilitated by trainers Malcolm Cooper and Adelena Chandler, both of whom have been involved for many years in delivering evening courses for Linkels & Partners.
The company indicated that additional anniversary activities are also being planned on other islands as part of the firm’s 25-year milestone celebrations.
