KRALENDIJK – Karola van Nie, the incoming Chief Prosecutor for Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, spent the past week shadowing her predecessor Walter Kupers as she prepares to take office on 1 September.
In a LinkedIn post, Van Nie expressed her appreciation for Kupers’ work, noting that over the past four years he has built a strong network and a well-functioning prosecutor’s office. She stated that together with colleagues and chain partners, she is committed to continuing the course he has set.
Kupers will hand over leadership of the prosecutor’s office to Van Nie later this year.
